BROWNIES 
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 c. Hershey's cocoa
1 tbsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Blend oil, sugar and vanilla in a mixing bowl. Add eggs and beat well. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; gradually add to egg mixture until well blended. Stir in nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from edge of pan. Cool in pan and frost.

FROSTING:

3 tbsp. butter
2-3 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. cocoa
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar

Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat. Add cocoa, heat just until mixture begins to boil, stirring constantly. Pour into mixer bowl. Cool completely. Add powdered sugar alternately with milk. Beat to spreading consistency, blend in vanilla. Frost brownies. Makes 16.
