“BLUE CHEESE NUT SPREAD” IS IN:

BLUE CHEESE NUT SPREAD 
2 cups crumbled blue cheese
2/3 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup pecans, walnuts, hazelnuts or macadamia nuts

Note: For best flavor, toast nuts in a few drops of melted butter and lightly sprinkle with salt (if you can find popcorn salt this is a good place to use it).

In a food processor, combine cheese and soft butter. Stir in walnuts. Scrape down bowl as needed.

Using a spatula, remove spread and place in a small serving bowl. Cover and refrigerate until needed. May be prepared several days ahead.

Serving idea: Sprinkle top with minced parsley and/or paprika for extra color just before serving.
