KENTUCKY BUTTER CAKE 
3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. buttermilk, or buttermilk powder equivalent
1 c. soft butter
1 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs

Combine all ingredients in large bowl. Blend at low speed of electric mixer until moist. Then beat 3 minutes at medium speed. Pour into greased bundt pan. Bake 60-75 minutes at 350 degrees.

BUTTER SAUCE: Combine 3/4 cup of sugar, 3 tablespoons water and 1/3 cup butter. Prick cake deeply and pour 3/4 cup hot sauce over cake. Cool upright 5 minutes. Turn cake onto serving plate and spoon remaining sauce over cake.

Very moist cake. Freezes well.
