DUMP CAKE 
1 lg. can crushed pineapple (drained)
1 lg. can pie filling, cherry or blueberry or apple
1 pkg. white or yellow cake mix (dry)
1 c. minced nuts
2 sticks butter, softened to room temperature

Grease a 9 x 12 inch pan and spread crushed pineapple evenly over bottom. Spread pie filling over the pineapple, followed by a layer of dry cake mix. Distribute nuts over the cake mix.

Next cut butter into squares and lay them all over the cake. Bake in 350 degree oven for one hour. When thoroughly cooled cut into squares and serve with whipped cream.

OR:

After greasing pan put cake mix (dry) into pan and stir in 1/2 cup water and 2 eggs. Mix well (may be some lumps). Spread contents of a can of pie filling (any of above).

Bake about 45 minutes.
