1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. water
1 egg
1 c. & 2 tbsp. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. M&M candies
1/2 tsp. salt

Blend Crisco and sugars. Beat in vanilla, water and eggs. Sift remaining dry ingredients together. Add to the sugar and egg mixture. Mix well. Stir in the M&M candies.

Drop from a teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. For additional color, candies can be pressed onto the cookie tops before baking.
