5 1/3 c. flaked coconut (14 oz. bag) 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk 2 tsp. vanilla VARIATIONS: Add 3 squares baking chocolate or 1 cup raisins. Or 1 cup small chocolate chips. Or 1 cup chopped pecans or almonds. Or 8 to 10 drops of any food color. Or sprinkle top with colored sugar. Combine three ingredients and any one addition. Drop from spoon on oiled cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from pan at once with moist spatula. Makes 5 dozen. |
