BEEF NOODLE CASSEROLE 
2 tbsp. butter
3/4 c. chopped onions
1 lb. ground round
8 oz. pkg. wide egg noodles
4 oz. can sliced mushrooms or 1/2 lb. fresh sauteed mushrooms
1 1/2 cans tomato sauce or 1 (#2 1/2) can tomatoes
1/2 (#1) can ripe olives, sliced
1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese, diced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Cook onions in butter until tender, add meat and cook just until redness disappears. Cook noodles in boiling salted water and combine all ingredients. Turn into buttered casserole (large, deep) and just before serving bake 40 minutes at 375 degree. Serves 8 amply.
