OVERNIGHT COLE SLAW | |
1 sm. head cabbage, shredded 1 med. onion, chopped 1 med. pepper, diced DRESSING: 1/2 c. white sugar 1/2 c. Crisco oil 1/2 tsp. celery seed; optional 1/2 c. cider vinegar 1 tsp. celery salt Bring dressing ingredients to a boil and pour over cabbage, onion, and pepper. Mix thoroughly and refrigerate overnight or at least 8 hours. Keeps several days in refrigerator. Serves 6-8. |
