BAKED CABBAGE 
1 med. head cabbage (coarse shred)
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. cream
6 slices bacon
Salt and pepper to taste

Place coarsely shredded cabbage in casserole. Mix sugar and flour, combine with cream, salt and pepper. Pour over cabbage. Top with bacon slices. Bake covered 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove cover for a few minutes at end to crisp bacon.
