RUSSIAN TEA BALLS 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. finely chopped nuts

Mix butter, sugar, and vanilla thoroughly. Measure flour; mix with salt and blend into butter mixture. Mix in nuts. Chill dough. Roll dough in 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 10-12 minutes at 400°F or until set but do not brown. While still warm, roll in confectioners sugar. Cool. Roll in sugar again.

Makes about 4 dozen 1 inch cookies.
