STRAWBERRY CAKE 
1 angel food cake, ready made
2 pkg. strawberry Jello
1 1/2 c. cold water
1 1/2 c. hot water
2 baskets strawberries, crushed or 2 pkg. frozen berries, thawed & drained
1/2 pt. whipping cream

I buy angel food cake at bakery or 2 of those smaller oblong ones at the grocery store.

Break cake into small pieces, dissolve Jello in hot water, then add cold water. Chill Jello until slightly congealed but not firm. Whip Jello until very fluffy. Beat whipping cream and fold into Jello. Thoroughly mix then fold in berries.

Use a springform pan. Put layer of cake pieces into cake pan, then layer of berry mixture, another layer of cake, then berries, alternate with berry mixture on top. Chill several hours or overnight.

GLAZE FOR CAKE (Optional) :
1 c. strawberry juice
1 tsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. butter

Cook over low heat or in double boiler until thickened. Spread over cake when unmolded.
