TANG COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sour milk
3/4 c. nuts, chopped (optional)
3 tbsp. Tang
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well. Dissolve soda in sour milk and add salt, Tang, flour and baking powder.

Drop by teaspoonfuls and bake 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Frost while hot with the following mixture which glazes immediately.

GLAZE:

1 tsp. butter
3 tbsp. Tang
1 c. powdered sugar

Add enough water or milk to make the glaze right for frosting. Quantity 4-5 dozen.
