CALIFORNIA BURGERS (MICROWAVE) 
1/2 lb. lean ground beef
2 tbsp. wheat germ
1 tbsp. chopped walnuts
1 green onion, chopped
1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
6 avocado slices
2 hamburger buns, split

Combine beef, wheat germ, walnuts and green onions. Mix well. Shape into 4 patties. Preheat browning dish. Place patties on dish and cook on High 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. Turn patties over and cook on High 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. Sprinkle cheese over patties and cook on High, 1 minute, or until cheese begins to melt. Place patties on buns, top with avocado slices and serve. Serves 2.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
