WHITE ROLLS 
4 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/3 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
1 c. boiling water
1 pkg. yeast dissolved in 1/2 c. warm water
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs, well beaten

Sift flour before measuring. Cream sugar and shortening. Add boiling water and stir until melted. Dissolve yeast in warm water and add to melted sugar and shortening. Then add salt, eggs and flour. Beat well. Let rise to double in bulk. Punch down and roll out on floured board. Cut and brush with melted butter; let rise. May be baked in muffin tins or cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees until lightly brown.
