WHITE SUGAR COOKIES (ROLL-OUT) 
2 c. white sugar
1 c. lard
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream or Half and Half (commercial)
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
3 or more c. of flour
1 tsp. baking soda in 1/4 c. milk

Cream sugar, lard, add beaten eggs, then add the rest of ingredients. Mix until stiff enough to roll. Set in refrigerator for few hours or overnight. Roll, cut, and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 375 degrees.
