ROLLED WHITE COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 tsp. lemon extract
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder

Cream butter with sugar. Add egg and extracts; blend well. Sift flour, salt, and baking powder together. Blend at low speed into creamed mixture. Chill dough for 2 hours. Roll out dough 1/8 inch thick on a floured cloth-covered board with a covered rolling pin. Cut into desired shapes and place on ungreased baking sheet. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake in 400 degree oven for 6 to 8 minutes or until delicately browned.
