PRETZEL SALAD 
1 1/2 c. crushed pretzels
1/2 c. butter
3 tbsp. sugar

FILLING:

1 pkg. Dream Whip (prepare according to pkg.)
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
4 tbsp. sugar
1 can pineapple pie filling

Crust: Melt butter and combine with sugar and pretzels. Press into bottom of 9x13 inch pan. Bake 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool completely.

Filling: Combine cream cheese and sugar with prepared Dream Whip. Spread over cooled pretzel crust. Top with 1 can pineapple pie filling. Top with grated Cheddar or Colby cheese.

HOMEMADE PINEAPPLE PIE FILLING:

1 can crushed pineapple
2 tbsp. cornstarch in jar with a little warm water

Shake well. Add:

Mix in saucepan. Heat at low heat until thick. Cool.
