CHOCOLATE OAT-NUT CAKE 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
12 oz. bag chocolate chips
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. cocoa
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
3/4 c. chopped nuts

Add water to oatmeal and let stand for 10 minutes. Mix dry ingredients together. Add sugar and butter to oatmeal, add eggs and dry mixture. Fold in 1/2 of the chocolate chips. Spread in a greased and floured 9"x13" pan. Sprinkle remaining chips and nuts on top.
