HALOOSHASKI'S FOR SOUPS | |
1 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 1 beaten egg Ice cold water Mix flour and salt together. Add already beaten egg. Add ice cold water, a few drops at a time, to make a stiff dough. Put mixture on a plate. Dip a butter knife in boiling soup to moisten. Cut small pieces of dough and add to soup - be sure to keep knife wet. When pieces of dough are floating, they are done. Soup is ready to serve. Great in homemade beef or venison soup. |
