SELF-FILLED CUPCAKES 
1 (18.25 oz.) pkg. chocolate cake mix
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Mix cake according to directions. Fill paper cups in muffin tins, 2/3 full. Cream the cheese with sugar. Beat the egg in. Stir in chips. Drop one teaspoon of the cheese mixture into each cupcake. Bake as package directs. Makes about 30. Freezes ok. No need to frost.
