FRUIT CAKE 
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter
5 eggs, beaten
1/2 oz. pure vanilla
1/2 oz. pure lemon extract
1 lb. candied cherries
1 lb. candied pineapple
4 c. chopped pecans

Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs. Add flour, baking powder; mix well. Add flavorings, fruit, and nuts. Bake at 250 degrees for 2 1/2 hours.
