1 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 tbsp. sugar
4 tbsp. brown sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease baking sheets. Coarsely chop candies. Stir together flour, baking soda, and salt. In large bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla; beat until light and fluffy. Add dry ingredients; gradually add the M & M's. Drop batter by rounded teaspoons, flatten, and decorate. Bake 9 to 12 minutes or until light brown.
