SPICED PEACH SALAD 
1 (1 lb. 13 oz.) can cling peach halves
1/2 tsp. whole cloves
6 sticks cinnamon
10 whole allspice
1/3 c. vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 unpeeled orange, quartered and sliced

Drain peaches, reserving half of the liquid. Tie spices in cheesecloth. In a heavy saucepan, combine reserved liquid, vinegar, sugar, orange slices, spices, and peaches. Heat to boiling. Cover and simmer 5 minutes. Cool and serve on lettuce. Fill center with cream cheese. Garnish with mayonnaise.
