INDIANA FRUIT SHERBET 
1 1/3 c. sugar
2 c. hot water
6 oz. can frozen orange juice
4 bananas, chopped
20 oz. can crushed pineapple
1 bottle maraschino cherries

Dissolve sugar in hot water. Mix with remaining ingredients. Freeze. Stir several times to distribute fruit evenly. Remove from freezer 30 minutes or more before serving. If you don't use it all, return to freezer and it will be as good as ever.
