CREAM CHEESE CAKE 
2 pkgs. Pillsbury crescent roll mix
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. Philadelphia cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c chopped nuts
8 inch square pan (9 inch may be used also for thinner cake)

Separate rolls from one package and place as a crust in bottom of pan, pressing them together. Cream the cheese with sugar, egg yolk and vanilla. Pour on roll mix. Top in the same fashion with second package of mix. Brush top with egg white. Sprinkle with nuts and bake 1/2 hour at 350 degrees. When cooled, sprinkle top with powdered sugar.
