CRANBERRY CAKE WITH BUTTER SAUCE 
CRANBERRY CAKE:

3 tbsp. butter
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 c. milk
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
3 c. cranberries
Beat together all except cranberries. Fold in cranberries and spread in
an 8 or 9-inch square pan. Bake 35-40 minutes at 350 degrees.

BUTTER SAUCE:

1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. cream or 2% milk
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix flour and sugar. Place all ingredients except vanilla in saucepan. Heat, beating well over high heat until hot and bubbly. Add vanilla and serve warm over cranberry cake. Serves 8-10 people.
