16 oz. pkg. Oreo cookies
1 stick butter (1/2 c.), softened
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. powdered sugar
12 oz. container Cool Whip
2 boxes (3 1/2 oz.) instant chocolate pudding mix
1 1/2 c. milk
1 c. each coarsely chopped nuts and chocolate chips, optional

In first bowl, cream together butter, cheese and sugar. In second bowl, combine pudding mix and milk. Blend in Cool Whip and mix gently. Combine both mixes. Reserve filling from centers of 4 or 5 Oreo cookies; place in small dish and refrigerate. Crumble all remaining cookies into fairly fine crumbs using food processor, or placing in plastic bag and crushing. Line a flower pot with foil. Layer cookie crumbs and pudding mixture repeatedly, making sure to end with cookie crumbs on top. Refrigerate. Before serving, crumble reserved white Oreo filling on top to resemble fertilizer. Before serving, put a nice bouquet of silk flowers in center of pot; add a bow, if desired. Serve with a large spoon and a smile.
