RANCH STYLE BAKED BEANS | |
1 lg. (family size) pork and beans 1 med. onion, diced 1/2 c. ketchup 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 lb. ground beef 1 green pepper, diced 3/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. mustard In a heavy saucepan, brown the ground beef, along with the pepper and onion. Crumble ground beef while cooking, drain completely. With burner on medium heat, add pork and beans, ketchup, sugar, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce, and let simmer until thickened and beans are soft. You may need more ketchup to suit your taste. Will make 8 (3/4 cup) servings |
