TEA CAKES 
4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 lg. eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

In a large bowl combine all the above ingredients. Mix well. Divide dough into 3 batches. Roll out on floured surface and cut. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet leaving a space between each cookie. Bake 7 to 10 minutes until lightly brown.
