GERMAN CHOCOLATE PIE 
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (4 oz.) bar German chocolate
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. butter flavoring
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. flour
2 c. milk
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coconut
1 baked 9" pie shell
Whipped cream

Combine sugar, flour, salt and 1/2 cup milk; mix well. Scald remaining milk, add chocolate, stir until melted. Add chocolate mixture to sugar mixture, cook until thickens. Add egg yolks to hot mixture slowly, stirring constantly. Cook over low heat for 2 or 3 minutes. Remove from heat, add remaining ingredients. Pour into pie shell. Chill, top with whipped cream.
