BREAKFAST CASSEROLE | |
8 slices bread, torn into bite-sized pieces 1 lb. sausage, cooked & crumbled 8 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded 2 1/4 c. milk 4 eggs 3 tbsp. dry mustard 1 tsp. salt 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1/4 c. milk 1 sm. can sliced mushrooms, drained Put bread in a 9x13 inch casserole dish. Put sausage on top bread. Put Cheddar cheese on top of sausage. Mix 2 1/4 cups of milk, eggs, dry mustard and salt. Pour on top of sausage. Mix mushroom soup and 1/4 cup milk. Stir mushrooms into this mixture. Pour all of this on top of rest of casserole. Cover and refrigerate overnight or bake immediately at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until hot and bubbly. |
