FRUIT COCKTAIL COOKIES 
1 c. soft butter
1 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 c. raisins (opt.)
2 c. drained fruit cocktail
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves or allspice

Beat butter, brown sugar and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, vanilla and extract. By hand, add raisins, fruit cocktail. Sift all dry ingredients together and add to sugar mixture.

Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes about 5 1/2 dozen cookies.
