WHIP CREAM POUND CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter
3 c. sugar (sifted 3 times)
6 eggs
3 c. cake flour (sifted 5 times and measure)
1/2 pt. whipping cream
2 tsp. vanilla (optional)

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating on low speed mixer. Add flour and cream alternately on low speed. Then for 1 minute on high speed. Bake in greased and floured pan. Put in cold oven, set at 325 degrees. Bake for 1 hour 20 minutes. Test with straw.

Note: (Bundt pan may take less time.)
