BEEF STROGANOFF 
2 tsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 clove garlic
3 tbsp. shortening
1 1/2 lbs. beef stew meat (1/2 inch pieces)
1 onion, finely chopped
3/4 c. water
1/2 c. tomato sauce
1 can mushrooms
1 tbsp. beef bouillon
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Sour cream
Noodles

Mix flour and salt. Coat stew meat with flour mixture. Saute onion and garlic in shortening until tender, then remove from skillet. Brown beef in skillet; stir in onion and garlic, water, tomato sauce, mushrooms, bouillon, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.

Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer until beef is tender (about 1 hour). Stir in sour cream. Serve over noodles.
