SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN 
1 egg
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. oil
1 tsp. soy sauce
1/4 tsp. white pepper
1 1/2 lbs. cubed chicken

Mix first 5 ingredients and add chicken. Refrigerate 20 minutes.

BATTER:

3/4 c. flour
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. water
1 tsp. baking soda

Mix all ingredients for batter. Roll marinated chicken in batter and deep fry in oil.

SAUCE:

1 c. pineapple juice
1 1/2 c. chicken broth
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. vinegar
2 tsp. soy sauce
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 c. ketchup
1 clove crushed garlic
1/4 c. cornstarch
