SCOTCH CAKE 
1 stick butter
1/2 c. oil
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water

Mix until mixture boils. Put pan in pan of cold water while finishing cake.

2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Mix with other mixture. Bake at 350 degrees until done. Five minutes before cake is done, make the icing.

HOT ICING:

1 c. coconut
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 box confectioners sugar
1 stick butter
6 tsp. sweet milk

Bring butter, cocoa and milk to a boil. Add sugar and coconut. Pour on cake. Put back in oven at same temperature until coconut browns (approximately 15 minutes).
