CAROLER'S COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

FROSTING:

2 c. sifted powdered sugar
2 to 3 tbsp milk
Food coloring

Candy sprinkles

Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Add combined dry ingredients; mix well. Chill several hours or overnight. On lightly floured surface, roll dough to 1/8 inch thickness. Cut with assorted 3 inch cookie cutters. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 400 degrees for 4-6 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool.

Combine powdered sugar and milk; mix well. Tint as desired with food coloring. Frost cookies. Decorate with sprinkles (4 dozen).
