MEXI-CALI LAYERED DIP | |
2 cans bean dip (your choice) 2 cups guacamole, freshly made or frozen 1 (8 oz.) dairy sour cream 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix 2 cups shredded lettuce 1 cup diced tomatoes 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese In a 9x13-inch dish, spread bean dip on bottom. Spread the guacamole on top of the bean dip. In a small bowl, mix the sour cream and taco seasoning with a wire whisk until well blended. Spread sour cream mixture on top of guacamole layer. Top with lettuce, tomatoes. and cheeses. Chill for several hours before serving. Serve with tortilla chips. Makes 8 to 10 servings. Submitted by: Nancy Dunn |
