1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. powdered sugar
1 1/8 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Pinch salt

Cream together butter and sugar. Mix in remaining ingredients with your hands until well blended. Form into 1 inch balls. Place on balls on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes (balls will NOT flatten). Roll warm cookies in powdered sugar to coat. Makes 3 dozen cookies.
