PALESTINE STEW 
1 c. whole meat
2/3 c. lentils
1 lb. hamburger
1 lg. can tomatoes
1 lg. onion, chopped
Salt and pepper

Bring lentils and wheat to a rapid boil. Turn off heat and let stand 1 hour, covered. Then simmer for 2 hours. Brown onion and hamburger. Add to beans and wheat. Stir in tomatoes, salt and pepper to taste. Add water if needed.
