GREEK STEW 
2 tbsp. olive or vegetable oil
3 lbs. boneless beef, cut into cubes (I use chuck roast)
3 lbs. whole onions (sm.)
1 c. beef broth
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 c. wine
1 sm. can tomatoes
1 bay leaf
2 garlic cloves

Salt and pepper beef and brown in oil. Remove and brown onions. Add remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees in covered casserole. Serve with noodles and ripe olives.
