CARAMEL POPCORN 
2 qts. hot fresh popped corn
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. butter
2 tbsp. dark corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Place popped popcorn in a 4 to 6 quart microwave bowl. Combine brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt in a 1 quart microwave bowl. Microwave on high for 1 1/2 minutes. Stir until thoroughly blended. Microwave 2 1/2 minutes more on high. Carefully remove from microwave and add baking soda and vanilla. Stir well. Pour immediately over popcorn. Stir to coat evenly using 2 knives. Microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir carefully and thoroughly.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
