LINGUINI WITH RED CLAMS SAUCE 
5 tbsp. olive oil
5 garlic cloves, minced
1 (16 oz.) can chopped tomato Progresso
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
Pinch of: dried red pepper (if desired) salt and pepper
16 fresh sm. clams in whole shell
8 oz. linguini, freshly cooked

Heat oil in heavy medium skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and saute until golden, about 1 minute. Add chopped tomato, stir and cook about 15 minutes at medium heat. Wash clams in cool water and stir into sauce. Add parsley, red pepper and pinch of salt and pepper. Cover and cook until the clams are open. Pour sauce over linguini and serve immediately.

Serves 4. Buon Appetito!
