EXCELLENT POTATO CASSEROLE 
1 stick butter, melted
1/2 tsp. salt
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/4 c. chopped onion
Bread crumbs for topping
1 (2 lb.) bag hash browns, thawed
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 c. sour cream

Thaw potatoes. Combine all ingredients, except bread crumbs. Place in an 8 1/2 x 13 1/2 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. May be frozen before baking.

Makes 10-12 servings; very showy.
