ENGLISH TRIFLE | |
1 pkg. ladyfingers or 4 dessert shells or 1/2 angel food cake, break into lg. pieces 1 lg. size pkg. Jello 1 lg. can fruit cocktail, drain & use juice in making Jello Dissolve Jello as directed on package. Add cake and drained fruit cocktail. Refrigerate until firm. 1/2 to 1 pt. whipping cream or Cool Whip Cook as directed on package. Cool to just warm. Pour over fruit, refrigerate until set. Top with 1/2 to 1 pint whipping cream, whipped or use Cool Whip. Refrigerate until ready to serve. |
