DATE-APPLE CAKE 
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cocoa
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3 eggs
1 c. vegetable oil
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. apples (peeled and chopped)
1 c. dates, chopped
1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Sift dry ingredients together. Beat eggs, oil, sugars, and vanilla together. Add dry ingredients that have been sifted together. Fold in apples, dates and nuts (mixture will be thick).

Bake in greased Bundt pan at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. When cool, sift powdered sugar on top.
