DEER MEATBALL SOUP 
1 to 1 1/2 lbs. deer burger (with suet)
1 or 2 jalapeno peppers (chopped fine)
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 c. catsup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 tbsp. chopped parsley
2 eggs (slightly beaten)
2 slices dry bread crumbs
3 tbsp. bacon grease
1 pkg. Au Jus mix
6 c. water

In a bowl mix all ingredients except bacon grease, Au Jus mix and water. Shape into small meatballs. Brown meatballs in bacon grease.

In a pan, over medium heat, stir Au Jus mix into water until dissolved. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, add meatballs and simmer (uncovered) for 45 minutes.
