PECAN PIE 
3 eggs
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
1 1/2 c. white or dark syrup, can use pancake syrup
5 tbsp. milk

Cream eggs, butter and sugar. Add remainder of ingredients. Pour into unbaked 9 inch pie shell. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Bake pie for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake for 35 to 40 minutes longer.
