IT SOUNDS LIKE BREAKFAST BUT
IT'S DESSERT TO ME

1 egg, beaten
1/3 c. milk
1/8 tsp. vanilla extract
3 slices bread

TOPPING:

4 tbsp. crunchy peanut butter
1/4 c. sugar free maple syrup
1 tbsp. raisins
1 tbsp. chopped dates

Mix eggs, milk and vanilla together. Dip the bread into the batter dipping both sides. Place buttered bread in well buttered frying pan. Brown on both sides.

Combine in a small bowl peanut butter, syrup, raisins, and dates; mix well. It's best if you soak raisins and dates in the syrup 5 minutes before adding the peanut butter. Heat topping in the microwave just long enough to make the peanut butter very warm.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
