NUTTY BROWNIE SQUARES 
1 1/4 c. oatmeal, uncooked (quick or old fashioned)
1/2 c. butter, melted
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg (substitute preferred)
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. all-purpose flour
1/3 c. chopped nuts
Pinch of salt

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 8 inch square pan with vegetable oil. Process oats in blender or food processor for about 1 minute. Combine butter and cocoa. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla; mix well. Stir in oat flour and remaining ingredients. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 15 to 17 minutes. Cool. Cut into 16 squares (2 inch each).
